Adam Crozier to succeed Brian McBride as chairman of ASOS
Online fashion retailer ASOS has said its chairman Brian McBride will be stepping down following its AGM in November and will be succeeded by Adam Crozier.
Prior to joining ASOS, McBride was the UK managing director of Amazon.co.uk from 2006 to 2011 and is currently chairman of cycling retailer Wiggle.
McBride said: “It has been a great honour and pleasure to have worked with ASOS over these past six years and I wish the company continued success in being the world’s no. 1 destination for fashion-conscious twenty-somethings.”
In a statement, ASOS said Crozier had extensive boardroom experience. He was chief executive of ITV from 2019 to 2017 and prior to that held the same role at Royal Mail. From 2000 to 2002, he headed up The Football Association and before that was joint chief executive of Saatchi & Saatchi. He is currently chairman of Whitbread Group.
