Abercrombie & Fitch to expand into India

Abercrombie & Fitch is to expand into India through a multi-year franchise partnership with Myntra Jabong, Myntra’s business-to-business wholesale entity.

The agreement will include Myntra Jabong building a physical store presence for the fashion brand in the country, as well as regional ecommerce sites and branded digital storefronts, which will be operated by licensed and independent third parties.

The deal will also include Abercrombie & Fitch’s Hollister brand.

Fran Horowitz, chief executive of Abercrombie & Fitch Co., said: “With the strength of A&F Co.’s brands today, we are thrilled to partner with Myntra Jabong to more deeply engage with new and existing customers in India.
