Abercrombie & Fitch joins line-up at Westfield London
Abercrombie & Fitch is to open a new store at the Westfield London shopping destination.
Due to launch on 22 November, the shop will also feature an Abercrombie Kids offering. The opening will follow the addition of Abercrombie’s sister brands Hollister and Gilly Hicks to the shopping centre in July 2019.
Keith Mabbett, director of leasing for Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield said: “The opening of the new Abercrombie & Fitch including Abercrombie Kids is an excellent addition to the centre and along with Hollister and Gilly Hicks, provides a strong fashion offering for our UK and international customers.”
Abercrombie & Fitch has also announced that its Savile Row Abercrombie Kids store will become the company’s head office for the EMEA region. As a result, the Abercrombie Kids offering will be incorporated into the nearby Abercrombie & Fitch store in Burlington Gardens.
Fran Horowitz, chief executive of Abercrombie & Fitch said: “With our growing team in the region, we’re getting closer to our local consumer, and both the Burlington Gardens and Westfield London locations will be an opportunity to bring relevant products and experiences to both our adult and kids customers.”
In October 2019, the company opened its first mall-based Abercrombie & Fitch store in France at Westfield’s Parly 2 mall. This was followed by a launch this month of the first mall-based standalone Abercrombie Kids store in Europe at Plaza Norte 2 in Madrid.
