Virgin Experience Days welcomes Richard Segal as chair

Virgin Experience Days has appointed Richard Segal as its new chair.

Segal has extensive experience of working with digital and consumer facing businesses including chairing Direct Ferries, Encore Tickets, Spotlight Sports Group, On The Beach, Hostel World and Esporta Health & Fitness.

In addition, he is a former chief executive of Party Gaming and Odeon and also worked as managing director of Rank Group’s Entertainment Sector.

In his new role, Segal will help Virgin Experience Days to grow its operations in both the UK and US, broaden its existing product offering and enhance its digital customer experience on both sides of the Atlantic.

Christoph Homann, chief executive of Virgin Experience Days, said: “Richard’s proven track record and relevant experience in the digital economy alongside his understanding of consumer facing businesses will be a great asset to the business.

“I look forward to working with him and scaling up the business by ensuring that Virgin Experience Days continues to deliver products and services that match the consumer’s passion for experiences and days out.”
