Pinterest unveils curated gift guides for shoppers this holiday season

Pinterest has launched its first-ever holiday gift guide which allows brands to directly inspire shoppers through curated boards of shoppable items.

The new campaign partners with retailer including Very, Sweaty Betty, John Lewis, M&S and The Cotswold Company.

“People love to shop on Pinterest, whether for themselves or to find that really special gift for a friend or loved one,” Pinterest retail director Tim Woollias said.

“As people come to the platform to shop but are undecided on exactly what for, they want to hear from brands, and get inspiration from ads. So, for advertisers, this means they can show up with the very items and ideas we know people are looking for.

“Our new holiday gift guide offers a curated spotlight of items from multiple brands, making the shopping experience even easier for Pinners searching for gift inspiration this season.”

Very digital marketing lead Jamie Connolly added: “Pinterest insights are a bit like having access to a crystal ball, as we can see what our audience is looking for and therefore likely planning to purchase in the near future,”

“We’re excited to feature in Pinterest’s first Holiday Gift Guide that lets us reach shoppers at an early stage ahead of the holiday period, with gift ideas for loved ones, co-workers, neighbours and more, that we know they’ll love.”
