GAME Digital appoints Ray Kavanagh as CFO
GAME Digital’s interim chief financial officer Ray Kavanagh has been appointed to the role in a permanent basis.
Kavanagh has been working in the position on an interim basis since June and prior to that held the role of interim director of corporate finance from January.
With over 20 years’ experience in the retail sector, Kavanagh’s prior roles include two years on the board of House of Fraser as commercial and supply chain director. Before that he held the role of director of finance for eight years.
Martyn Gibbs, GAME’s chief executive, said: “We are pleased that Ray is joining the board after a period as interim chief financial officer. He has a solid understanding of the retail sector and the right expertise to implement strategic and commercial initiatives from a finance perspective. I look forward to continuing our work together to deliver our strategy for the group.”
