Vodafone and Currys agree extension of exclusive multi-year partnership

Vodafone and Currys have signed a new deal, extending their partnership with a renewed focus on growing beyond mobile to include home broadband and connected devices for around the home.

According to Vodafone, for customers wanting an in-person service, this collaboration “will also focus on continuing to successfully drive customer experience improvements, innovation, and loyalty.”

The new deal will ensure Vodafone remain the exclusive mobile network partner (MNO) with Currys. As the largest omnichannel retailer of technology products and services in the UK, this deal will support Currys’ mobile, SIM-only and broadband transformation.

Together, the partnership has a common goal of closing the digital divide and raising awareness of the issue in the UK through Vodafone’s everyone.connected campaign and Currys’ work with the Digital Poverty Alliance.

Max Taylor, Vodafone’s UK Chief Commercial Officer, said: “I am delighted to announce the multi-year extension of our unique, exclusive and successful partnership with Currys. Ensuring as many customers as possible get the choice of the UK’s reliable award-winning network. Together, we will now expand the partnership to cover home broadband and other connected categories.”

Ed Connolly, Chief Commercial Officer for Currys, commented: “Signing a multi-year extension to our Vodafone deal underlines the strength of our long-term partnership and our shared commitment to providing customers with quality, flexibility and value across mobile and other connected devices. This agreement will allow Currys’ customers to continue using Vodafone’s reliable, award-winning coverage in the UK, as well as providing them with access to the most expansive 5G network across Europe. Our mobile offering is working for our customers, and it’s working for us. ”
