Microsoft’s London flagship to open in July
Microsoft has announced that its new flagship store at London’s Oxford Circus will open on 11 July.
Spanning 21,932 square feet, the three floor shop will be the first physical retail store for Microsoft in the UK.
Microsoft said the store will enable shoppers to test and experience its own latest technology, products and services as well that of its partners. The shop will feature interactive zones that are surrounded by immersive video walls to help shoppers get “hands-on” with Surface, Windows, Office, Xbox and PC gaming, HoloLens mixed-reality and more.
In addition, the store will offer an “answer desk” where customers can access tech support, training, repairs and advice from Microsoft advisors. There will also be a community theatre and space for tech, coding and STEM learning.
David Porter from Microsoft Store said: “A flagship store in London has long been part of our vision for our physical and digital store presence. This opening represents another step in our journey to meet our customers – from consumers to businesses – wherever they are and deepen our connection with them.”
Microsoft’s other store locations include flagships in New York and Sydney and shops across the US, Canada and Puerto Rico.
