Huawei opens biggest retail and customer experience space outside of China

Technology company Huawei has chosen Madrid for the opening of its biggest retail and customer experience space outside of China.

Situated on Gran Via, the 1,100 square metre store will showcase Huawei’s entire product range. It will also offer customers free product training and technical support, as well as expert masterclasses on subjects such as photography, design, video and multimedia.

Walter Ji, chief executive of Huawei Consumer Business Group for Western Europe.“We have opened this world leading flagship space in one of Europe’s most premium locations as evidence of our commitment to our customers, and to show that for our business, nothing has changed. This is the latest step in our continued ambition of bringing meaningful innovation to every person around the world.”

Huawei is planning to open a similar site in Barcelona later this year.

Marianna Cherubini, retail director of the consumer unit of Huawei Spain, said both stores will boost the company’s  positioning in Spain and will complement its experience and service centres in Malaga, Madrid and Barcelona.
