AO offers free delivery and free timeslots for NHS workers

Online electricals retailer AO.com has introduced free delivery and free timeslots for people working on the frontline in the NHS.

The retailer said it wants to make it as easy as possible for eligible workers to get their appliances delivered at a time that suits their shift patterns.

The service is open to anyone working in the NHS who can provide a valid NHS.uk or NHS.net email address.

David Lawson, managing director of AO.com, said: “We’re all hugely grateful to the NHS front line workers and this new service is just one of the ways that everyone in AO.com can show their appreciation.  We know that shifts mean timing is everything with a delivery so this is designed to make it safe, hassle-free and easier for these frontline NHS workers to get their electricals at home at a time to suit their working pattern, and ultimately help them do what they do best.”

In addition, AO is offering a 10% discount on personal purchases for NHS key workers and is also donating products via smaller requests to hospitals and medical units across the UK.
