Shhh… Menopause Wellness and All Health Matters team up for department store pop-up
Department store Morleys in Bexleyheath will hold its first pop-up menopause shop in collaboration with Shhh… Menopause Wellness and All Health Matters.
The mission is to offer anyone going through, approaching, or supporting someone experiencing menopause, advice to help them understand what is going on in their body – and reassure them that they are not alone.
As well as sharing stories – so as to encourage an open conversation and reduce the stigma – and coping strategies, visitors will also be able to purchase Shhh’s… sleep and wellbeing products, that have been specifically formulated to support the individual’s needs during this stage of life.
The pop-up will take place in Morleys Bexleyheath from 9am-5.30pm on Tuesday 6 June.
All Health Matters, specialist in occupational health supporting over 40,000 employees in businesses, will be offering discounts on menopause consultations at their Kent clinics for anyone who visits the pop-up stand, as well as being present on the stand with Shhh… Menopause Wellness to answer any questions.
Menopause coach, counsellor and founder of Shhh… Menopause Wellness, Marva Williams said: “Supporting those experiencing – or helping individuals experiencing menopause – is so important to us. We’re all about encouraging open and honest conversations because while taboos are crumbling, menopause know-how still has a long, long way to go.”
Williams concludes “I am delighted to be able to put this into action with our first menopause pop-up with All Health Matters, at Morleys Bexleyheath on June 6.”
Gill Monk, founder and managing director of All Health Matters, added: “Our menopause pop-up, in collaboration with Shhh… Menopause Wellness, is aimed at women and men of all ages who would like to talk about menopause and have the chance to ask any questions. Monk continues; “Sadly, many people feel that they need to just ‘get on with’ the menopause, and that’s not the case. People can come along to Morleys Bexleyheath on June 6, listen, join in the discussions – and hopefully leave with a better understanding of the impact of menopause on those who are experiencing it.”
Morleys Department Store is part of Morleys Group, independently owned.
