Selfridges hires Andrew Keith as managing director
The Selfridges department store has appointed Andrew Keith as its new managing director.
He will take up his position in February 2021.
Keith has been working as president of Asian department store chain Lane Crawford for almost ten years during which time he oversaw the company’s expansion into mainland China.
At Selfridges, he will succeed Simon Forster who left the business earlier this year. Since then, the role has been covered on an interim basis by Anne Pitcher who is managing director of Selfridges Group. The group also includes the Holt Renfrew, Brown Thomas, Arnotts and De Bijenkorf retail brands.
Pitcher said “With Andrew’s knowledge and experience in craeting exciting physical and digital destinations and successfully leading a 170 year old business in a rapidly changing market, we can look forward to exploring new opportunities under his leadership as we continue to reinvent retail.”
Keith will be overseeing Selfridges stores in London, Birmingham and Manchester and also its online business.
