Royal Warrant Holders within the retail sector pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II
Royal Warrant Holders with the retail industry have today reflected on the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
We spoke to the Royal Warrant Holders Association who said: “Her Majesty’s commitment to businesses and especially her 650 Royal Warrant-holding companies and their employees was of immense and lasting significance, and in turn, was truly valued by so many. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are, of course, with Members of the Royal Family at this incredibly difficult time.”
A Royal Warrant of Appointment is granted as a mark of recognition to people or companies who have regularly supplied goods or services to HM The Queen or the Royal Households
Today, many retail brands holding Royal Warrants have paid tribute to Her Majesty The Queen II:

A John Lewis Partnership spokesperson said: “We are deeply saddened by the death of Her Majesty The Queen. She faithfully served the nation as our Sovereign during her long, happy and glorious reign. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to The Royal Family.”

A Burberry spokesperson said: “We are deeply saddened by the death of Her Majesty The Queen. We join the Royal Family in mourning her loss. Burberry.”
British luxury lifestyle brand Asprey published the following message on their website today: “Our sincere condolences to the Royal Family on the passing of Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II at this very sad time. Her dedication, contributions and service to the United Kingdom and the entire commonwealth will always be remembered. In light of the sad passing of Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II, the store will be closed today and will reopen on Saturday 10th September.”
Hamleys website has said: “We will be taking time to mourn and reflect on Her Majesty’s incredible life, along with the entire country and as a mark of our deepest respect our Entertainers will for the first time in 262 years go silent and flags lowered to half mast across all our stores.”
