Nordstrom appoints new board director
Nordstrom has appointed former Nike chief operating officer Eric Sprunk to its board of directors.
He will stand for election at the US department store’s upcoming 2023 annual meeting of shareholders.
With more than 25 years’ leadership experience in the consumer retail industry, Sprunk worked with Nike from 2013 to 2020 and held various executive positions of increasing responsibility. In his chief operating officer role, he led the teams responsible for manufacturing, sourcing, sales, procurement and technology.
Prior to joining the sportswear brand, heĀ was an accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was responsible for client services for large multinational companies and financial services organisations..
