Neiman Marcus appoints chief brand officer and chief retail officer
Neiman Marcus Group has appointed Nabil Aliffi as chief brand officer and promoted Stefanie Tsen Ward to the position of chief retail officer.
Both roles have been newly created as part of the retailer’s growth strategy.
Previously global chief creative officer of Soho House & Co, Aliffi also held leadership positions at Selfridges and Urban Outfitters after co-founding Vulture Magazine.
At Neiman Marcus, he will be charged with elevating customer touchpoints and bringing “a cohesive voice”. This will include driving innovation and strengthening the heritage retailer’s positioning.
Meanwhile Tsen Ward has worked with Neiman Marcus for over four years and was previously senior vice president of customer engagement and west region integrated retail. Her CV also includes stints at Sephora, Louis Vuitton and Bath and Body Works.
In her new position, she will work closely with Aliffi to bring the brand vision and experience to life, and will also continue to accelerate the company’s integrated retail strategy.
Both positions will report into Ryan Ross, president of Neiman Marcus brand, who joined the company in August.
Ross said: “Neiman Marcus is the leading integrated luxury retailer in the US, recently achieving tremendous transformation. These strategic roles will further define the magic of the iconic brand by driving areas that directly impact our customer and fuel our growth.”
