Home sales increased by 2.1% driven by new season sales and the success of the retailer’s ‘Off to University’ shop.

Earlier this week, the department store changed its name to John Lewis & Partners. The new branding has been unveiled on the facades of some of its London shops. The John Lewis Partnership has also changed the name of its Waitrose supermarket chain to Waitrose & Partners as it looks to emphasise its Partnership business model and culture and differentiate itself from its main competitors.
