HBC names new chief executive
HBC, the owner of the Hudson’s Bay and Saks Fifth Avenue department stores, has appointed Helena Foulkes as its new chief executive.
Due to take up her role on 19 February, Foulkes was previously with CVS Health where she was executive vice president of CVS Health and president of CVS Pharmacy.
Foulkes will be responsible for HBC’s global strategy and operations for all fascias including a portfolio of more than 480 stores worldwide. She will also oversee ecommerce platforms, the supply chain, logistics and technology.
On joining the business, she will be appointed to HBC’s board of directors.

HBC’s businesses in the US and Europe include Hudson’s Bay, Lord & Taylor, Saks Fifth Avenue, Gilt, Saks Off 5th, Galeria Kaufhof and Galeria INNO.
