Harvey Nichols appoints Kate Benson as chief merchant
Harvey Nichols has appointed Kate Benson as chief merchant with immediate effect.
Benson previously worked for seven years with YNAP where her most recent role was buying director for Net-a-Porter.
In a statement, Harvey Nichols said that Benson has a proven capability of designing and delivering on elevated product strategies and also has strong relationships with luxury brands. In her previous role, she worked on special projects with the likes of Chloe, Alaia, Khaite, Gabriela Hearst and Tom Ford.

Founded in 1831, Harvey Nichols operates stores in London, Leeds, Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and Dublin. It also has a dedicated beauty store, Beauty Bazaar, in Liverpool.
