Online fit technology adopted by more retailers across Europe

Fits.me Virtual Fitting Room has signed up five more retailers from the UK, the Netherlands and Germany as the online fit technology is adopted by an increasing number of retailers across Europe.

New signings include Avenue 32, Henri Lloyd, John Smedley in the UK and Mexx in the Netherlands, while Boden will extend its use of the service in Germany.

Co-founder and chief executive of Fits.me, Heikki Haldre, said: “The accuracy of the Fits.me Virtual Fitting Room means retailers see a terrific return on investment. The names of our newest clients, coupled with existing customers such as Adidas, Hugo Boss and Superdry, show that Fits.me delivers cost-effective solutions to the issue of fit for all sizes of retailers.  This has helped us to become the most commercially successful online fit technology in the world.”

The company is continuing to develop its solutions, including a full mobile edition of its flagship virtual fitting room that will deliver full functionality to mobile devices and, later, a mobile application. Haldre added: “M-commerce and e-commerce go hand-in-hand now.  We want to help retailers increase conversion, reduce returns and improve the experience for their customers on whichever channel or device they want to shop.”

In February, Fits.me launched a new version of the photo-accurate Fits.me Virtual Fitting Room service. The company also launched Fit Advisor, a complementary service to the Fits.me Virtual Fitting Room, enabling retailers to provide customers with fit recommendations without the need for extensive photography. Last month, the company opened offices in France and Germany to support growing interest from across Europe.

Fits.me’s clients include Adidas, Barbour By Mail, Ermenegildo Zegna, Hawes & Curtis, Hugo Boss, L.K.Bennett, Nicole Farhi, Otto, Pretty Green and Thomas Pink.
