Joules launches eyewear collection with Vision Express

Joules, the lifestyle clothing brand, has teamed up with optical retailer Vision Express to launch an eyewear collection for women and girls.

Designed in collaboration with eyewear specialist Mondottica, the range comprises 32 hand-crafted spectacles featuring details such as the Joules hare icon on tips and nosepads, and the brand’s signature floral prints on lens cloths. The collection also includes sunglasses and a range of spectacles for girls aged eight to twelve.

Joules founder Tom Joule said: “We’re extremely proud of the first Joules eyewear collection, launched exclusively with our friends at Vision Express. We’ve developed this range in response to customer demand and worked hard to make sure each frame is true to the Joules brand, reflecting our country heritage, sense of humour and fun with colour and prints.”

Vision Express chief executive Jonathan Lawson added: “It’s fantastic to partner with Joules to offer their exclusive eyewear range, at an accessible price point for our female customers and with a unique, attractive range for mother and daughter. The collection reinforces the Joules eye for detail and commitment to quality, and is an attractive distinctive addition to the extensive range of over 60 exclusive and designer brands Vision Express has to offer.”

The collection was launched at a special event at the Vision Express Oxford Street store earlier this week. Guests included celebrity choreographer Arlene Phillips and Made in Chelsea’s Olly Proudlock.
