Johnsons launches click and collect dry cleaning
Dry cleaning company Johnson Cleaners has launched a new online ordering service which includes door-to-door pick-up and delivery.
Following the launch of Johnsons Bridal service earlier this year, the ‘Click, Clean, Deliver’ offer will initially be rolled out to 49 regions across the UK, including Birmingham, Worcester and West Yorkshire.
Johnsons said the move has been designed to make dry cleaning more convenient for its customers who will be able to see if they are eligible to use the service by visiting the postcode checker on the Johnsons website.
Services will include garment cleaning and pressing as well as duvet and curtain cleaning and suede and leather care.
Orders will be picked up by a courier and taken to Johnsons’ specialist centre to be cleaned and then returned in a specialist garment box which has been designed for transporting pressed garments.
Johnson Cleaners’ managing director Paul Ogle said: “We are thrilled to be launching our online dry cleaning service ‘Click, Clean, Deliver’, which will offer our customers the best possible service and convenience. This is an exciting move for the company; one which we hope will be well received by our customers. We know that they lead busy lives and we look to make life a little easier with this door-to-door service.”
The minimum order value will be £30 with a delivery charge of £5.50. Cleaning will be turned around within one working week and orders can be collected and delivered to a home or work address
